Tanya Doskova won in the Communication Arts Magazine Illustration competition.
Series of her latest Illustrations were selected to appear in Illustration Annual 51, the May/June 2010 issue of Communication Arts.

Tanya Doskova has won a Merit Award in Printmaking - La Quinta Arts Festival , Featured Artist for 2010 with Digital Art at The Woodlands Art Festival, Houston, TX and Featured Artist for 2009 with Digital Art at Sausalito Art Festival 2009, San Francisco.

Tanya Doskova is an Award winning Painter, Printmaker and Illustrator living in Vancouver, BC Canada.

I work with Interior Designers and Individual Customers. My latest commission is for The Venetian Hotel & Casino in Macao.

My Imagery is a reflection of life around me and my imagination. I do Painting, Printmaking, Illustration and Computer Graphics. I use techniques like stone lithography, etching, watercolour, oil, acrylic and digital painting. In addition, I self-publish my art in signed and numbered limited edition prints.

Biography
Tanya Doskova is a Bulgarian-born, Canadian artist living in Vancouver, BC. She holds a Master of Arts degree in printmaking. In 1990, Tanya moved from Sofia (Bulgaria) to London, UK, where she was featured in three solo exhibitions in Soho and had her work presented in more than 20 group exhibitions.

In 1995, Tanya won the John Purcell Prize for best lithography (London, UK). The following year her artwork won the Cannon Canada Gold and the Cannon Canada Merit Awards from the Canadian Association of Photographers and Illustrators (CAPIC).

In 1997, Tanya won three other major Canadian awards, including the Adobe Systems Gold Award, the Cannon Canada Bronze Award, and the Readers Digest Merit Award for Editorial Illustration.

From 1998 until 2002 she did computer animation and special effects for the film industry. Tanya worked in U2 and Ridley Scott's post- production house, The Mill, and also in Jim Henson’s Creature Shop in London UK creating special effects for the Hollywood motion pictures: 'Enemy of the State', 'Babe 2', and 'Pitch Black'.
