The Granville Island Public Market is well-known internationally as a feast for the senses. The Vendor community and their wares are a vital part of the daily excitement, coming to the market from all over BC - from Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands, to the Lower Mainland, from the Okanagan Valley to the beautiful interior reaches of our province.
GIDVA Food Drive a Success

GIDVA's Food Bank Drive over the Christmas holidays in the Market was a great success. A big Thank-You to all who contributed generously with food and cash donations. We collected 6 heavy boxes of food items and almost $400 in cash for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

The Granville Island Day Vendors Association will be collecting non-perishable food items and $$ for the Vancouver Food Bank between Dec 10- Jan 3 in the Public Market. Most needed food items include:
Canned meat/fish
Peanut butter
Bags of whole wheat pasta/rice
Pasta sauce
Canned fruit/vegetables
Cereal
Baby formula / Baby food

This years Circle Craft Christmas Market runs from November 11th to 15th at the Vancouver Convention Centre, and again features a number of GIDVA Members. Keep your eyes out for the following crafters:
